All storage unit rent is due on the 1st day of the month. If your storage unit is occupied on or after the 1st day of the month, full rent is due for that month. If rent is not received prior to the end of our business day on the 7th of the month, a late fee will be assessed to your account per your signed rental agreement. The term of your tenancy shall commence on the date the rental agreement is executed, and shall contain thereafter on a month-to-month basis. Minimum term shall be one month. See your rental agreement for an overview of fees and charges relating to your storage unit.
All refunds will be by check as outlined in your signed rental agreement. There is no refund of storage unit rent if move out is after the fifteenth (15th) of the month. Security deposit shall be returned to occupant within fifteen (15) days of vacating the storage unit provided the rent is current; the storage unit is left completely empty, broom clean, lock removed and Occupant has given at least fifteen (15) days advanced written notice of Occupant’s intent to vacate the storage unit.
If unit is overlocked due to non-payment and you pay the balance due in full, the overlock will be removed the next regularly scheduled business day.
We collect from you only the personal information you voluntarily provide in order to deliver the best possible service. If you choose to process an online payment or reservation we ask you to provide us with information necessary to process your order including, but not limited to, name, physical address, telephone number, facsimile number, email address, company name, title credit card number, expiration date, and storage unit number.
We collect your email address so that we can send you information about your transaction and its status. The credit card information that is collected is used strictly for billing purposes.
Sharing Your Personal Information
Lake Region Storage does not sell or share information to unrelated third parties.
Change of Address
All change of address must be in writing
Minnesota Lien Law
Lake Region Storage follows the state of MN NOTICE OF LIEN: Pursuant to Minnesota law (Minnesota Liens on Personal Property in Self Service Storage Act, Sec. 514.970-514.979), Owner has a lien for unpaid rent and other charges on Occupant’s stored property and may sell Occupant’s property if rent and other charges remain unpaid. If rent and other charges remain unpaid for 15 or more days, Owner has the right to deny Occupant access to the storage space and certain personal property.
